Landscape lighting specialists, Lumena Lights Ltd, began supplying professional 240V bollard lights made from aluminium, around 10 years ago.
The choices of head, height and mounting options have proved very successful in terms of longevity and reliability. The professional bollards continue to be supplied for various professional applications. These include hospitality settings, NHS venues and housing developments. Lumena’s decade-long experience with 240v bollard lighting has laid the foundations to further innovate in this space, and October 2022 sees the release of the highly efficient, high-output Boleda LED Bollard Lighting Range.
The range utilises built-in LEDs as an alternative to replaceable lamps.
These integrated LED chips are designs specifically for the range, maintaining the same light output as replaceable lamps whilst consuming less power. There is a variety of heights, surface or root mount options, each available with or without a dusk to dawn photocell. There are 2 contemporary designs, the ‘Ventus’ and ‘Conus’.
The Ventus has a louvred, domed head design with a clear diffuser for optimum light output. The strong louvres and diffuser ensure an even downwards spread of light as well as further general protection.
The Conus has a flat top head design incorporating an internal, coned, white reflector for optimum light output without glare. A clear, polycarbonate diffuser surrounds this to ensure even light dispersal and further general protection.
A fantastic feature on both designs is a 3-way internal switch enabling the choice of 3 different colour temperatures: 3000K, 4200K and 6500K. This gives the choice of warm, cool or daylight white. The 20W rated in-built LED in both bollards emit a generous 1600lm (80lm/W) output.
IP65 with an IK08 impact rating, these durable LED Bollard Lights are ideal for all applications.
The Boleda LED Bollard Lighting designs are made from heavy duty, pressure die-cast aluminium with non-corrosive, stainless steel socket screws. The tube is up to 5mm thick aluminium and reinforced with internal ribs.
Suitable applications include car parks, driveways, pathways and seating areas. The Boleda range will last many years, even in a commercial setting and all designs have a 5 year Guarantee.
Root mount bollard options are available, where extra stability is needed. The bollard tube simply sinks 400mm in-ground and is concreted in.
30+ of our high-quality new 240V LED Conus bollards have been supplied via the trade to a West Yorkshire housing development where there was previously no lighting in place.
Very important to the specifier was the fact that there was a root mount bollard option, in order to give maximum stability and durability.
Reliable In-built LED light-source with a high output was also specified, with the Conus’ colour temp switch being an added bonus.
